The Silver Arrows are more than a "gimmick" and if you don't understand why, do some homework on why that name has carried significant weight since the 1930's.April 3rd, 2024 at 8:44am ESTAmgc63 (20) Seller 0Good morning everyone this auction was over yesterday vehicle did not sell the highest bidder Far off from the reserve Thanks.April 3rd, 2024 at 8:34am ESTJE360GUY (1) 0Amgc63 (18) Seller, I have a question, I'm certain you will be interested in giving an answer, to this seemingly impossible claim. It was made on your listing, via a plaque that can not be correct on two different cars. Thanks in advance.April 3rd, 2024 at 12:57am ESTMedhatElsergany (2) 0Was it sold for $44000 or it didn’t meet reserve?April 2nd, 2024 at 11:41pm ESTJE360GUY (1) 0The time when a car usually has the greatest excitement or interest is usually when it is offered for the first time. This fine example of a Silver Arrow was originally listed, on this auction site on 05/04/2022. That was a full two years ago, the high was $50,000. That did not satisfy the reserve price, set by the seller. I hope the seller will reach out to the high bidder and make everyone happy. It's apparently not being driven, except to the mechanic, who must be on a first name basis with the owner. My Med. school surgeon used to say don't be on a first name basis with your lawyer or car mechanic. We all know why. Plus, I forgot to mention the Plaque on the dash. Thats all, I'm floored to have learned it just a marketing gimick. Nothing else about it is different, nothing adding to it's driving characteristics at all. Nice colors though!April 2nd, 2024 at 4:06am ESTJE360GUY (1) 0Another 09 SL550 Silver Arrow Edition with a bit more miles and a few more upogrades sold on February 9, 2024 for $28,000 on Cars and Bids. April 2nd, 2024 at 3:50am EST$31,000 bid placed by @JE360GUYApril 2nd, 2024 at 3:31am ESTJE360GUY (1) 050K seems unrealistic. I can understand his feeling that is a good price considering the way he has taken car of the car. Plus, a red interior is unusual. I'm not understanding what tne big deal is about a Silver Arrow Edition, other than a label. Whoever added oil without tightening the oil cap must be turning red from embarrassment! Thats an expensive mistake. LolApril 1st, 2024 at 10:57pm ESTMedhatElsergany (2) 0There is a YouTube video for this car done on Nov 4, 2022 by Dean Lamumbach saying the odometer has 38,862 miles. 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL550 Silver Arrow walk around video 11/4/22April 1st, 2024 at 8:24pm EST$30,500 bid placed by @sadiesApril 1st, 2024 at 12:32pm EST$30,000 bid placed by @unreasonablehostMarch 31st, 2024 at 8:22pm ESTAmgc63 (20) Seller 0@MedhatElsergany that's Good Question Probably The same as last time 😁March 31st, 2024 at 8:11pm ESTMedhatElsergany (2) 0This same car was listed here back on 05/04/2022 by the same seller, and the bid reach $50,000 and did not met the reserve, so I am wondering what would be the reserve this time?!!!!!March 29th, 2024 at 3:32pm EST$28,500 bid placed by @ScottJMarch 26th, 2024 at 10:28pm EST$28,000 bid placed by @unreasonablehostMarch 25th, 2024 at 3:43pm ESTMB8605 (4) 1Amgc63 (11) Great job on the CarFax.
