Description
Drawing inspiration from the legendary 250 California, the modern Ferrari California is a high-performance grand tourer with a 2+2 seating configuration and Ferrari's first folding hardtop roof system. The California was also the first Ferrari to feature a front-mounted V8 engine, as well as the first to incorporate direct fuel injection. Equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, this 2010 example is finished in white over red leather upholstery and features Scuderia fender shields, red brake calipers, 20” Y-spoke alloy wheels, and more. It is now being offered for auction in Maryland showing approximately 40k miles on the odometer.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork offers an open-air experience via a folding hardtop that retracts in just 14 seconds. Finished in white, this California features Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, red brake calipers, quad exhaust outlets, and 20" Y-spoke alloy wheels, with additional 19" wheels included in the sale. The seller notes minor paint flaws and blemishes consistent with the mileage, and adds that the tire-pressure warning light is illuminated because the 20" wheels are not fitted with sensors. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing salvage history.
The cabin is upholstered in red leather and features a 2+2 seating configuration with power-adjustable front bucket seats. The black leather three-spoke steering wheel is equipped with column-mounted paddle shifters, an engine start button, and Ferrari’s Manettino drive mode selector. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, machined aluminum pedals, a touchscreen infotainment system, a central 10k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and a configurable digital instrument display. An aftermarket Apple CarPlay head unit has been installed. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
