Description
This 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of 541 examples built for the US market during a two-year production run. It was first sold in California, spent time in Canada, and was relocated to the US in 2021. Acquired by the current owner that year, the 3.8-liter flat-six was subsequently replaced and the red side graphics were refinished on the Gray Black body. Shifting is through a six-speed manual transaxle with revised gears, and the car rides on Bilstein coilovers and 19″ center-locking wheels over GiroDisc brake rotors. The exterior has been altered with a carbon-fiber hood and a Cup-style rear wing, and the interior houses carbon-fiber-backed seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara as well as a roll bar, a CAE shifter, automatic climate control, and PCM with navigation. Additional modifications include welded coolant pipes, a Dundon Motorsports muffler, and Cargraphic headers with catalytic converters. This 997.2 GT3 RS has 23k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a Washington state title. The track-focused RS model features wider quarter panels when compared to the standard 997 GT3. This Gray Black (7A1) example was outfitted with a carbon-fiber hood and a Cup-style rear wing under prior ownership, and work in 2024 included removing previously installed front canards, repainting a door, refinishing the red side graphics and grille, and applying paint protection film on various panels. The car also features lightweight headlights, fog lights, LED taillights, and dual center-mounted exhaust outlets.
