2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore

The 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore represents a distinct chapter in the Gallardo lineage, combining a rear-wheel-drive layout with a striking two-tone exterior. Introduced as a limited-production model, the Bicolore features a contrast-painted roof that enhances the car’s angular, wedge-shaped design. This example is finished in Giallo Midas with Nero Noctis, a factory two-tone color scheme that highlights the car’s sharp lines and aggressive stance. Inside, the cabin is upholstered in Nero Perseus leather, creating a refined yet purposeful environment. With 27,195 miles, this example has had four owners, with the current owner taking possession in 2021.Power is provided by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10, delivering 550 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed E-Gear automated manual transmission. This configuration results in a curb weight of approximately 3,042 pounds, making it nearly 70 pounds lighter than the all-wheel-drive Gallardo LP560-4. The decision to offer this model in rear-wheel-drive form was influenced by Lamborghini’s legendary test driver, Valentino Balboni, and was engineered to provide sharper steering response, reduced weight, and a more dynamic driving experience. Performance figures include a 0–60 mph time of approximately 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.Service records indicate consistent maintenance at Mike Ward, Winslow BMW of Colorado Springs, and Blue Chip Services. In May 2024, Blue Chip performed a brake fluid service, drive belt replacement, and oil change. Further maintenance includes the replacement of oxygen sensors in December 2022, the completion of its 30,000-mile service in December 2022, an air conditioning service in August 2022, and a crankcase breather hose replacement that same month. As one of the last iterations of the Gallardo before the introduction of the Huracán, the LP550-2 Bicolore occupies a unique place in Lamborghini’s modern history. Its lightweight, rear-wheel-drive configuration, paired with naturally aspirated V10 power, delivers a driving experience that stands apart from other models in the range. With its documented maintenance history, striking factory specification, and production exclusivity, this Gallardo remains a significant and compelling offering for enthusiasts seeking a refined yet visceral Lamborghini.‍
