Description
The Ferrari California marked the marque's first front-engine V8 and its first retractable-hardtop grand tourer, pairing a 4.3-liter V8 with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This 2012 example is finished in Nero Daytona over a Nero leather interior with Daytona-style seats and sends power to the rear wheels through the dual-clutch gearbox. Options include 20" diamond-finish Y-spoke wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, MagneRide dual-mode suspension, Daytona-style seats with Alcantara inserts, adaptive front lighting, a rear camera, and a carbon-fiber driving zone. Showing approximately 16k miles on the odometer, this California is now being offered for auction in New York.
Finished in Nero Daytona, the Pininfarina-penned bodywork carries a folding two-piece retractable hardtop, a hood scoop and fender vents, a front lip, an integrated rear spoiler, and stacked quad exhaust tips, along with Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, xenon headlamps with washers, and front and rear parking sensors. It rides on 20" Y-spoke diamond-finish alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 245/35 up front and 285/35 at the rear, with the front tires from 2018 and the rears from 2016. The seller notes a minor imperfection in the paint protection film low on the passenger-side front and two small scuffs on the right front fascia, and states that the windshield was replaced in 2014 following a stone chip. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
