Description
Video Walk Around: This 911/997.2 Carrera 4 GTS was custom ordered by it’s original to mark the end of 8 years of 997 production from Jim Ellis Porsche, Inc. Atlanta Georgia. It is one of only two GTS Cabriolets finished in Spectacular Ipanema Blue Metallic, making it extremely rare and unique, contrasted by a Black Convertible Top and Black Leather Interior. It was specified with more than $17k in additional options which are listed below and on the window sticker in the picture gallery. Having had just three owners the most recent for nine years, the car is in magnificent condition and has clearly been meticulously cared for its entire life. The underside of the car presents as new and reflects what I would have expected to see when the car was delivered to its first owner in 2011. The dealer maintenance history is fully documented and up to date. On delivery the new owner will be presented with everything the car came with when new and numerous additional accessories. These include trophies and photographs from when the car was shown at Porsche Club of America events. Link to Carfax Report: With an MSRP of $139,360 in 2012 this “Bespoke Ordered” 911 was extensively optioned with the following in addition to the many features that were standard equipment on the GTS: BASE 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet 250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) 342 Heated Seats (Front) 346 Wheels Painted Silver 437 Comfort seat (left) 438 Comfort seat (right) 541 Ventilated Seats (Front) 640 Sport Chrono Package Plus 672 Extend Navigation Mod-PCM 3.0 680 BOSE(R) Surround Sound System 686 Sirius XM (TM) Sat Radio Tuner 714 Deletion of Alcantara(R) package 803 Interior Package in Carbon AR Black Seats in Leather F2 Ipanema Blue Metallic P15 12-Way Power Seats V9 Cabriolet Roof in Black XMP Sun Visors in Leather XMZ Center Console in Leather XPT Storage Bin Lid with Crest XSC Porsche Crest Emboss Headrest XWU PDK Gate Surround in Leather XXG Clear Taillights Model Background: The 2012 911/997.2 marks the end of the truly analog 911 and the GTS represents the top of the range of street focused normally aspirated cars with all the performance options as standard equipment. The 3.8-liter 408hp DFI Flat 6 Engine offers exciting performance mated to a 7-Speed PDK Gearbox that shifts seamlessly, the PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) makes the car handle like a dream and the sound of the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) is intoxicating. Opportunities to purchase Time Warp Porsche’s like this don’t come along too often and the car has already attained collector status in my opinion with values continuing to rise. If you’ve been dreaming about owning something like this for the last 14 years now’s your chance while I can still talk my wife out of adding it to our stable.
