This 2013 Ford Mustang 5.0 Super Cobra Jet is a limited-production American muscle car designed to compete at the drag strip. Under the hood is a high-output 5.0-liter V8 that features a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger system, forged internal components, and an Aeromotive fuel system, among many other performance-oriented powertrain modifications. The power produced by this extreme engine is sent through a three-speed C4 automatic transmission (built by Joel’s on Joy) to the rear wheels. This purpose-built racing machine sits on 15” x 10” rear / 15” x 3.5” front Weld Racing Cobra Jet wheels and is finished in black, a dark hue that makes this car look even more menacing. In the interior, this Cobra Jet offers Recaro racing seats with harnesses, a Chrome-Moly safety cage, a Ford Racing | Sparco steering wheel, a dash-mounted Ford Racing tachometer, dash-mounted Ford Racing auxiliary gauges, and dash-mounted ignition and auxiliary switches, making this car the ultimate track machine.
