2013 Ford Mustang GT Tuskegee Airmen Red Tails Edition

The 2013 Ford Mustang GT Glass Roof Coupe Red Tails Edition is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine with a 2.3-liter Whipple supercharger mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. One-of-one build for the EAA Young Eagles honoring the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military aviators in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Inspired by the P-51 Mustangs flown by the Red Tails squadron, this special edition Mustang also was built utilizing VIN 00051. Aluminum finish with P-51–inspired yellow/red accents, side-exit exhaust, Brembo brakes and Recaro seats with “Red Tails” embroidery. Additional features include a “Red Tails” script in the illuminated sill plates and puddle lamps that project “Red Tails” imagery when the doors open. Created by the engineering and design team at Ford for the annual event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Ford has been creating a one-of-a-kind aviation themed Mustang every year since 2008 that was donated by Ford to be auctioned off for charity for the Experimental Aircraft Association. 50 actual miles.
