KEY FACTS A highly engaging and extensively modified Caterham Super 7, presented in a vibrant colour scheme and benefiting from a significant engine rebuild. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre inline-four engine, driving the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. First registered in March 2014, this example was acquired by the seller in October 2022. The odometer indicates 2,104 miles, though this is not warranted, with the seller noting the true mileage is unknown. This Super 7 features a rare Hayabusa 1600cc engine, which was comprehensively rebuilt in 2018 with an SBD Gen 1 kit. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This Super 7 is finished in a vibrant shade of orange with a contrasting satin-black nose cone and gloss-black wheel arches, over a black leatherette-trimmed interior, featuring exposed aluminium body panels and aftermarket carbon-fibre Tillett bucket seats. It rides on a set of 13-inch eight-spoke split-rim alloy wheels finished in black with polished barrels, fitted with Kumho Ecsta V700 tyres. Equipment now includes a significant engine rebuild by DM Racing in December 2018 with an SBD Gen 1 taper throttle body kit, a CNC ported head, forged pistons, a steel crank, uprated clutch shafts, and a dry sump, along with a Reverie carbon-fibre airbox with dual ram air filters, a full roll cage, a side-exit exhaust system, a Momo steering wheel, a carbon-fibre rear-view mirror, an aluminium gear knob, an aluminium and carbon-fibre handbrake handle, a Stack ST100 dash display with shift light, adjustable Nitron Racing Systems shocks, and a TRS 6-point safety harness for the driver. Accompanied by a rain cover for the cockpit, the V5C, a dyno printout, a selection of maintenance invoices, and a spare starter motor.
