Description
This custom Land Rover Defender 90 is powered by a supercharged Ford 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine paired with a Getrag MT82 6-speed manual transmission and full-time four-wheel drive. The engine features a Sean Hyland-designed supercharger, Spectre performance air intake, Ford Racing valve covers, revised engine management software and shorty exhaust headers. The transmission is equipped with an Aasco Motorsports clutch assembly and an LT230 dual-range transfer case with a locking center differential. A Project Kahn dual stainless-steel performance exhaust system features crosshair-style tips. The suspension incorporates Land Rover-sourced coil springs with front and rear anti-sway bars. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes. The exterior is finished in Corris Gray with contrasting Santorini Black on the roof, hood, front fascia and Project Kahn Widetrack fender extensions. Additional exterior features include a domed hood, custom-fabricated front bumper with integrated driving lights, tubular rear bumper, matching side steps and upgraded lighting. It is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, a heated windshield and power-adjustable Mercedes-Benz G-Class-style mirrors with integrated turn signals. The Defender rides on 20-inch black multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 285/50 Nitto Terra Grappler all-terrain tires, with a rear-mounted spare featuring a body-color cover. The custom interior is upholstered in Ferrari-specification Nero leather covering the seats, dashboard and door panels, accented by carbon-embossed leather inserts and contrasting silver stitching. Interior equipment includes heated front bucket seats, fold-away second-row bucket seats, a microsuede headliner, Momo sport steering wheel, air conditioning and remote central locking. Additional appointments include center console storage with cupholders, a Land Rover-branded analog clock and Defender all-weather floor mats. A Pioneer touchscreen infotainment system is paired with upgraded audio components and a center-console-mounted subwoofer. Accompanying items include a photographic build booklet and Land Rover literature. Approximately 2,300 miles since completion of the build.
