Description2014 Peterbilt 337 Mechanics Service Truck – 8.9L Cummins Diesel – 6,000 LB Auto Crane – Miller Big Blue 350 PipePro – Fully Outfitted – Only 35,000 Miles Extremely hard-to-find 2014 Peterbilt 337 Mechanics Service Truck with only 35,000 original miles. This is a serious heavy-duty mobile service and repair truck that is fully outfitted with a 6,000 lb Auto Crane, Miller Big Blue 350 PipePro diesel welder/generator, air compressor system, hose and cable reels, extensive enclosed tool storage, and heavy-duty service body. Powered by the proven 8.9L inline-6 Cummins diesel engine, this Peterbilt has been exceptionally well maintained and runs and drives like new. It has also been fitted with new tires and is ready to go directly into service. The heavy-duty mechanics body offers an enormous amount of organized storage with multiple locking side compartments, lower tool drawers and cabinets, large equipment enclosures, work lighting, diamond-plate surfaces, and dedicated storage for the welding and service equipment. This is essentially a complete mobile repair shop on a Peterbilt chassis. The truck is equipped with a 6,000 lb Auto Crane hydraulic service crane, giving a mechanic the ability to lift engines, transmissions, pumps, hydraulic components, heavy equipment parts, machinery, and other components directly in the field. One of the highlights is the Miller Big Blue 350 PipePro diesel engine-driven welder/generator visible in the photos. This is a heavy-industrial welding system designed for Stick, MIG, flux-cored and TIG applications. Depending on configuration, the Big Blue 350 PipePro provides welding output up to 400 amps and generator capability of up to 12,000 watts peak / 10,000 watts continuous, making it a substantial source of jobsite electrical power in addition to its welding capabilities. The truck is also equipped with an onboard air compressor system along with multiple heavy-duty retractable hose/cable reels. Everything is integrated into the service body so a technician can arrive at a piece of disabled equipment and have lifting, welding, electrical power, compressed air, tools and parts storage available from one truck.
