2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat 2dr Coupe

Vehicle Description 2015 Dodge Challenger $69,997 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat — 707 HP Supercharged HEMI, 6-Speed Manual, 13,761 Miles Why This Car Is Special When Dodge unveiled the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat, the automotive world took notice. At 707 horsepower, the supercharged 6.2L HEMI made the Hellcat the most powerful production muscle car in American history at the time of its release. Nothing from Ford or General Motors came close. Dodge built the car knowing it would be polarizing — it was loud, fast, rear-wheel drive, and offered with a six-speed manual in an era when manufacturers were quietly phasing out the third pedal from their performance lineups. That combination of raw output and driver involvement is exactly why the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has already become a collectible. The Hellcat name carries real meaning. The 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI uses an IHI twin-vortices positive-displacement roots-type supercharger with a 2.4-liter displacement. It produces 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque from the factory, on premium pump gas. The Tremec TR-6060 six-speed manual gearbox — paired here with this specific car — was not the default choice. Most buyers opted for the eight-speed automatic because it was quicker in the quarter mile. The drivers who chose the manual did so because they wanted to be involved. That is a meaningful distinction when evaluating a used Hellcat. This particular car shows 13,761 miles on the odometer, which is low for a ten-year-old vehicle. The cluster photograph confirms it. The car comes with both the red and black key fobs — a well-known Hellcat detail. The red fob unlocks the full 707 horsepower. The black fob limits output to 500 horsepower, a feature designed to let owners loan the car without handing over full power. Both fobs being present and accounted for is a meaningful data point on a used Hellcat. The undercarriage photographs show a clean, solid floor pan with no corrosion, consistent with a low-mileage car that has been kept in good condition. The engine uses a roots-type positive-displacement supercharger with an integrated air-to-liquid intercooler to keep intake charge temperatures in check. Output is 707 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 650 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Those figures were enough to run 0-60 in the low three-second range and cover the quarter mile in the high ten-second bracket under the right conditions. The Tremec TR-6060 six-speed manual gearbox fitted to this car is the same unit used in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the Viper. It is a robust, purpose-built transmission that handles the torque load without complaint. The clutch and pedal setup visible in the cabin photographs is factory correct with the SRT aluminum sport pedals. The rear axle is a live 8.8-inch unit with an SRT performance differential. Stopping power is handled by Brembo-supplied brakes — six-piston calipers up front biting 15.4-inch two-piece rotors, and four-piston calipers at the rear with 13.8-inch rotors. The red Brembo calipers are clearly visible through the 20-inch SRT forged whee
