No mold at all. As I was told by the multiple people that saw the car in person; “wow, it smells brand new” “ I can’t believe how well kept the car is, and that new leather scent” September 15th, 2026 at 1:48pm ESTfutureisbright (3) 0Hello, any noticeable smell or odor in the car (cigarettes, mold, etc.)? Thank you!September 15th, 2026 at 1:44pm EST$58,500 bid placed by @FXRcR1September 15th, 2026 at 1:36pm EST$58,000 bid placed by @oldbobbySeptember 15th, 2026 at 1:33pm ESTOSA72 (16) Seller 0@FXRcR1 Yes, all 5 wheels including the spare are factory OEM MERCEDES - BENZ and are NOT replica / aftermarket. They are original and have never been refinished. September 15th, 2026 at 1:06pm ESTFXRcR1 (62) 0Thanks, I did not realize the AMG was a wider tread and that was the problem with the carrier not fitting. Are the AMG wheels genuine (not reproduction) and can you confirm they are factory original finish? I have had several bad experiences with refinished wheels cracking clear coat over time which is why I ask.September 15th, 2026 at 12:50pm ESTOSA72 (16) Seller 1@FXRcR1 Mercedes made this design decision on the W463 generation G-Class (including the 2015 G 63 AMG) due to a mix of chassis carryover, clearance constraints, and tire geometry. The primary reasons for using a 19-inch spare with a taller sidewall (265/55R19) alongside 20-inch road wheels (275/50R20) include: * **Identical Outer Diameter:** Wheel rim diameter alone does not dictate tire height. The 20-inch road tires (275/50R20) and the 19-inch spare (265/55R19) have virtually the exact same overall rolling diameter—roughly **30.8 inches**. Because the 19-inch tire has a higher aspect ratio (55 series vs. 50 series), the extra rubber sidewall compensates for the smaller metal rim. This keeps the overall rolling circumference matched, protecting the G 63's permanent 4MATIC transfer case and differential locks from binding or overheating. * **Spare Tire Cover Enclosure:** The signature rear stainless steel spare tire cover on the W463 G-Class was engineered around standard 18- and 19-inch tire specs. A 275-width 20-inch performance road tire is physically wider across the tread profile. Using a slightly narrower 265-width 19-inch wheel assembly ensures the tire fits cleanly inside the rigid metal ring and lock-latch without bulging or binding. * **Platform Shared Standard:** Standard non-AMG G-Class models (like the G 550) ran 18- or 19-inch wheels as factory equipment. Mercedes streamlined production by utilizing a uniform 19-inch spare assembly across the W463 line rather than redesigning the exterior rear carrier brackets and stainless covers specifically to house the AMG's wider 20-inch option. * **Tailgate Hinge Strain:** The G-Class rear door is heavy, and hanging a wider, heavier 20-inch AMG wheel assembly on the external hinges increases long-term fatigue on the tailgate latch and frame mount. The 19-inch wheel/tire combination shaves off critical weight.September 15th, 2026 at 12:45pm ESTFXRcR1 (62) 0Thanks for clarifying. Does that mean it's a different overall diameter and you would not be able to use the spare due to the 4WD and potential harm to the drive line? I am not sure why the 20" rim size would matter as far as fitting under the cover unless the overall diameter is actually different as a result.September 15th, 2026 at 12:37pm ESTOSA72 (16) Seller 0@FXRcR1 great question ! It does not, as the original G63 wheels (20”) do not fit in the original spare tire cover / ring. Mercedes Benz installed the f
