KEY FACTS This VF Series II-era Holden Commodore Motorsport Edition is a limited-production Australian performance saloon, created to commemorate the final chapter of locally manufactured Holden Commodores, and is one of just 1,200 examples produced. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. This example is numbered 001 of 1,200, making it the first numbered car in the limited-edition Motorsport series. The odometer indicates 18 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 2017 EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The Motorsport Edition was introduced as part of Holden's final special-edition VF Series II range, celebrating the marque's Australian manufacturing heritage. Based on the Commodore SS V Redline, it featured a range of distinctive styling and chassis enhancements. Motorsport Edition features also included Magnetic Ride Control suspension, upgraded Brembo brakes, and distinctive exterior detailing. This example is finished in a vibrant shade of red with contrasting black and silver bonnet and side stripes, over a black leather and Alcantara-trimmed interior, featuring red stitching and brushed aluminium-effect and gloss-black trim. It rides on a set of 20-inch twin five-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss-black with red lip accents, framing silver Brembo brake callipers and fitted with Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Equipment includes xenon headlights, daytime running lights, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, Holden's MyLink infotainment system with satellite navigation, dual-zone climate control, a head-up display, switchable driving modes, electrically adjustable heated front seats with two-position driver memory, and a reversing camera. It is accompanied by its logbooks, a Motorsport Edition-branded car cover, an unopened set of Holden floor mats, a certificate of authenticity, and two keys in the original presentation box.
