2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R

This 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R presents in Shadow Black over an Ebony interior with Red accents, showing 1,253 miles from new in completely stock, never-tracked condition, accompanied by all original paperwork and full maintenance records. The GT350R occupies a singular position in Ford's modern performance catalog — a road-legal, track-focused homologation variant of the GT350 that represents the most driver-focused Mustang produced in the modern era, and one whose combination of naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V8, carbon fiber wheels, and stripped-out chassis tuning has secured its place as an instant modern classic.Power comes from Ford's 5.2-liter naturally aspirated flat-plane crankshaft V8 — the Voodoo engine — producing 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The flat-plane crank configuration, borrowed from racing engine architecture, allows the V8 to rev with a speed and urgency entirely unlike the cross-plane crank engines that define the Mustang's broader lineage, producing a high-pitched, layered exhaust note that builds to 8,250 rpm in a manner more reminiscent of a Ferrari V8 than anything previously offered in an American muscle car. It is widely regarded as one of the finest naturally aspirated engines fitted to any American production vehicle. The GT350R's distinction over the standard GT350 lies primarily in its carbon fiber wheel package — a set of forged carbon wheels developed with Carbon Revolution that reduce unsprung mass by approximately 60 pounds over conventional alloy wheels, with measurable improvements to steering response, ride compliance, and acceleration. Combined with the R's additional aerodynamic package, deleted rear seat and audio system weight reduction, and revised suspension tuning, the GT350R arrives from the factory in a state of track preparation that requires no further development to deliver serious lap times. This example has never seen a circuit, preserving the tires, brake components, and chassis in a condition consistent with its odometer.Recaro sport seats are fitted, providing lateral support and harness compatibility appropriate to the car's performance envelope while maintaining the cabin's road usability. The painted roof provides a subtle visual distinction against the Shadow Black body, and the Ebony interior with Red accent stitching and detailing reinforces the car's performance identity without resorting to excess. Shadow Black is among the most natural color choices for the GT350R's aggressive, aero-laden bodywork — a combination that presents the car's wide-body stance and functional aerodynamic elements with appropriate visual weight. The presence of all original paperwork and full maintenance records on a 1,253-mile, never-tracked GT350R is a meaningful documentation story — this is a car that has been deliberately preserved rather than incidentally underused, and it arrives to its next owner with no outstanding questions regarding its history or condition. This GT350R represents a straightforward opportunity to acquire one of the most significant American performance cars of the modern era in a state of preservation that the market will find increasingly difficult to replicate as surviving low-mileage examples continue to be absorbed into long-term collections.‍
