LEARN HOW IT WORKS!" section of the website if you are unfamiliar with the clock. Like virtually every major online automotive auction platform, our timer resets to 2:00 minutes if there is a bid within the final two minute window. This prevents "sniping" and allows for a fair and transparent final bid price by giving all serious bidders the opportunity to bid...even in the last few minutes. This is the standard practice in the industry, designed to ensure fairness/transparency, and is clearly disclosed in detail on our website. I'm sorry you were not aware of this beforehand, so I'll strongly encourage you to read through the information beginning with "NEW TO THE MB MARKET? LEARN HOW IT WORKS!" link in orange at the very top of our homepage. That should resolve all of your questions about the clock and more. Thank you. Also, the car did not meet reserve. Thats why it says "BID TO $79,000" at the top of the page instead of "SOLD for XXXX" at the top of the page. The details of Reserve-based auctions like this one is also covered in the aforementioned links for your review. -ThxOctober 18th, 2022 at 7:34pm ESTTKS77 (4) 0If I was the winning bidder I would be pissed because they kept extending the auction at the last second to run up the bid. They added an additional 6-7k to the price. Seems shoddy to me.October 18th, 2022 at 6:49pm ESTbustosgroup (1) Seller 1Thank you guys, we will contact the highest bidder tomorrow . We are very close.
