The frame is decommissioned by mercedes and cannot be rebuilt for official competition. In other words, as far as Mercedes or any notable racing series, this car has been totaled. It can’t be rebuilt for street use or race use because it’s damaged. That is why it doesn’t have a vin. It has a chassis number.
