2019 Global Expedition Pangea LT on 2001 F550

DescriptionThe Global Expedition factory just completed remounting this Pangea on a low mileage 2001 F-550 with the 7.3 diesel engine. The Pangea box is 2012 which originally was mounted on a Mitsubishi truck. With that $200,000 upgrade, the state of Idaho issued a reassign VIN and the title reads 2019. The current owner moved to the F-550 for a 100HP gain as well as the 7.3 was the final year before def fluids and catalytic converters were required. The 7.3 can burn all of the high sulfur fuel in Mexico and South America. This Expedition rig is ready to use for your Western Hemisphere travels, or ready to be placed into a container to your next world travel destination. When in the lowered driving position, it's sleek sized provides areo dynamics and increased fuel economy. When stopped for the night, raise the roof to expose hard-side walls and dual-paned glass windows. Equipped with a large kitchen, 2 person dining, permanent slipping for 2 and a wet bath, the Pangea-LT lifting roof provides all amenities for world-class travel. Cabin heat and hot water are provided by with a diesel-fueled hydronic heater witch also pre heats the truck engine in cold weather. Pangea is a marvel of engineering. The roof lifts at a rapid speed. The body is a GVX Structural Composite Sandwich Panel that is 3.5 inches thick. With the roof lowered it's stable at Interstate speeds even in windy conditions.
