KEY FACTS This Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is a rare and exhilarating high-performance saloon, and one of just 300 examples delivered worldwide. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The Project 8 was designed and hand-assembled by Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division, which used only the front doors and roof from the regular XE saloon and replaced many panels with carbon-fibre. The adjustable rear wing, splitter, and new diffuser reduce lift by 205% and contribute to 122kg of claimed downforce at 186mph. This example is finished in the attractive shade of Velocity Blue with a contrasting gloss-black roof, carbon-fibre door mirror caps and trim elements, and twin satin grey off-centre racing stripes. Inside, the cabin features Ebony leather and Alcantara upholstery with contrasting stitching, embroidered Project 8 logos on the front headrests and rear seat back centre, and brushed aluminium, Piano Black and carbon-fibre trim. It rides on a set of 20-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss-black with diamond-cut faces, framing yellow brake callipers over carbon-ceramic discs and fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
