2022 Audi R8 Performance

Naturally Aspirated 5.2-Liter V10 | Quattro All-Wheel Drive | Less Than 10,000 Miles | Black Over RedWhen Audi unveiled the first R8 in 2006, it marked a defining moment in the brand’s history—a supercar engineered with the precision, usability, and understated confidence that had long characterized the marque’s most successful road and racing efforts. Developed alongside the brand’s Le Mans–winning prototype program, the R8 represented a direct link between endurance racing technology and roadgoing performance, combining mid-engine balance with Audi’s trademark quattro all-wheel-drive system. The 2022 R8 Performance, offered here, represents the final and most focused evolution of the model’s V10 lineage. At its heart lies a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10, producing 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, an engine shared with Lamborghini’s Huracán EVO and renowned for its razor-sharp throttle response and intoxicating mechanical character. Power is delivered through a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission to all four wheels, enabling a 0–60 mph sprint of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph.Beneath its black exterior, this R8’s architecture blends an aluminum space frame and carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer components, ensuring both rigidity and lightness. Adaptive magnetic dampers, dynamic steering, and carbon-ceramic brakes further refine its capabilities, allowing the car to transition seamlessly between touring civility and track-day precision. The cabin, finished in striking red leather, continues Audi’s tradition of minimalist luxury—driver-focused, tactile, and impeccably constructed. The Audi Virtual Cockpit, Bang & Olufsen sound system, and configurable drive modes create an environment equally suited to high-speed grand touring or weekend canyon runs.Showing fewer than 10,000 miles from new, this R8 Performance presents in superb condition throughout, offering a near-new experience of one of the last great analog-feeling, naturally aspirated supercars. With the production run of the V10-powered R8 now concluded, this example stands as a particularly compelling opportunity to acquire the final iteration of Audi’s flagship performance car—a model that has come to define a generation of precision engineering and enduring driver appeal.
