Description
When Ferrari unveiled the 812 GTS at Universo Ferrari in Maranello in September 2019, it ended a fifty-year wait. It was the first series-production front-engined V12 spider from Maranello since the 1969 365 GTS4, and it arrived with the full mechanical package of the 812 Superfast rather than a softened convertible version of it. At its heart is a 6,496 cc naturally aspirated V12 producing 800 cv (789 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 718 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm (factory claim), driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari quotes 0–100 km/h in under 3.0 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 8.3 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h (factory claim), figures virtually identical to the closed Superfast. The retractable hard top folds away in 14 seconds at speeds of up to 45 km/h, and Ferrari reworked the rear diffuser and cabin airflow so the open car would drive like the coupe. The chassis carries Ferrari’s full suite of electronics, including Side Slip Control 5.0, the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system, E-Diff 3, magnetorheological dampers and carbon ceramic brakes. This car Chassis ZFF97CMA0N0282897 was completed at Maranello in July 2022 and built to Canadian specification. It entered North America through the Port of Newark and was delivered new through Ferrari of Quebec in Montreal, to a first owner in British Columbia. The car came to the United States in 2025 with its first owner and has covered just 443 miles. It is a Tailor Made New York commission, specified piece by piece rather than from the standard configurator. The exterior is finished in Blu Genziana, a glossy tri-coat, with a single 24 cm central livery stripe in Bianco Panna that runs from the front bumper across the hood, roof and roof spoiler to the third stop light. The paint is original and carries Ferrari’s factory paint plate. Airbrushed Scuderia shields, a carbon exterior sill kick and racing ball-polished effect wheels complete the outside. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Jeans Aunde Blu, with complete Daytona racing seats in the large size, Cordura inserts, Cavallini stitched in Beige 7863 and tone-on-tone stitching throughout. The upper cabin is finished in Nero 8500 leather, and the standard aluminium elements carry a hammered-effect finish. A glossy carbon kickplate and a silver dedication plate, both bearing the Tailor Made logo, carry a personal inscription dated May 10th, 2021. Factory equipment also includes a carbon fibre steering wheel with LEDs, racing seat lifter, suspension lifter, adaptive headlights with SBL, surround view, an advanced front driving camera, a heat-insulating windscreen, the high-power hi-fi system, Apple CarPlay, diamond-plate aluminium footrests and an aluminium rev counter. The car has full paint protection film, window tint, a hardwired radar detector and an aftermarket exhaust; the factory exhaust accompanies the car. The brake calipers, specified in Silverstone Grey, are currently finished in yellow. CARFAX reports no accidents, damage or title brands, and the car was last serviced in June 2026. It comes with two smart keys, the key code card, its owner’s manuals and warranty book, and the original Canadian window sticker. The model figures come from Ferrari’s launch material. The 812 GTS debuted at Maranello during Universo Ferrari, fifty years after the last front-engined V12 spider joined the range, and it was the first full series-production front-engined V12 convertible since the 365 GTS4. Ferrari rates the V12 at 800hp at 8,500rpm with 718Nm at 7,000rpm, and the hard top folds in 14 seconds at up to 45km/h. Ferrari quotes 0–100 km/h in under 3 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 8.3 seconds and a 340 km/h top speed.
