This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a heavily modified American muscle car that was purpose-built to perform. Under the hood is a 5.2-liter V8 engine that originally produced 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque, which is sent through a seven-speed Tremec dual-clutch automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The factory supercharger system has been wholly discarded in favor of a Hellion Turbo twin-turbo kit that features Hellion Turbo 64/66R T4 twin turbochargers, Hellion Turbo S560 4-to-1 headers, a Hellion Turbo 6” Race intercooler, a Plazaman billet intake manifold, Fore Innovations billet fuel rails, a Fore Innovations triple-pump fuel system, Injector Dynamics ID1700X fuel injectors, and an AMS 2000 boost controller, among many other modifications. This muscle car sits on 18” Forgeline SS1R rear beadlock wheels and 20” Forgeline SS1R front wheels, and the exterior is finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic, a subtle hue that belies this car's true performance capabilities. In the interior, this GT500 offers heated and ventilated leather sport seats, multi-zone climate controls, a fully digital gauge cluster, selectable drive modes, selectable suspension settings, selectable steering feel settings, selectable exhaust settings, dash-mounted oil pressure and oil temperature gauges, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, apps, climate controls, phone connectivity, AUX, Apple CarPlay, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
