2023 Ford Mustang Saleen SA40 40th Anniversary

Vehicle Description 2023 Ford Mustang Saleen SA40 $249,999 Offered here is a truly extraordinary opportunity to own one of the rarest modern American performance cars ever produced: the 2023 Saleen SA40 Speedster, built to commemorate Saleen’s 40th Anniversary. This example is Serial No. 002 of only 10 produced, making it one of the most exclusive Saleen models in existence—rarer than an S7, rarer than most ultra-limited halo cars, and destined for blue-chip collector status. Presented in as-new condition with only 199.5 miles, this SA40 still wears its original Saleen window sticker on the windshield, exactly as it left Saleen’s Specialty Vehicle Operations. Every detail remains crisp, clean, and untouched—this is as close as one can get to owning the car brand new. The SA40 Speedster is a celebration of Steve Saleen’s legacy—blending modern Mustang power with the refined craftsmanship, aerodynamic design, and race-bred upgrades that built the Saleen name. Distinctive Saleen bodywork, signature performance enhancements, bespoke interior detailing, and of course the striking Speedster tonneau with dual fairings make this car an unmistakable statement piece. The sound, the stance, the presence—it’s unmistakably Saleen, and unmistakably special. The interior shows like new, the exterior finish glows, and the car drives exactly as a hand-built limited-production super-Stang should—tight, responsive, and full of personality. This SA40 is for the collector who understands significance. It is not simply a modified Mustang—it is a factory Saleen, born and documented as such, with the pedigree that matters. Included with the sale are the car cover, the Saleen “Retrospective” history book, and the original floor mats, ensuring the presentation is complete and authentic. For the collector who missed their chance when these cars were offered new, or the enthusiast assembling the ultimate modern American performance portfolio—there may not be another opportunity like this. Serial No. 002 is ready for its next steward.
