The P400 uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six mild-hybrid (MHEV) engine producing 395 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time all-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case. Performance is strong for a large, heavy three-row SUV: roughly 0–60 mph in the low-to-mid 6-second range and a top speed around 119–130 mph (market-dependent). The mild-hybrid system aids efficiency and response.
