This 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was acquired by the seller in 2013 and underwent a cosmetic refurbishment in 2016. Work included a repaint in Aquamarine Blue and reupholstering the interior in tan leather. Power is provided by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes 15” steel wheels with chrome hub caps, chrome bumpers, pop-out quarter windows, an Empi GT–style steering wheel, and an aftermarket vintage-style stereo head unit.
The body was reportedly refinished in Aquamarine Blue in 2016 and fitted with a new windshield and rubber seals where required. Equipment includes chrome bumpers with overriders, a driver-side mirror, pop-out quarter windows, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15” steel wheels feature chrome hub caps and wear Nexen Jupiter SB-802 tires. 1967 saw the introduction of a dual-circuit braking system, and the car is equipped with front discs and rear drums.
The interior has been reupholstered and features tan leather seats and door panels, matching shift and handbrake boots, a suede headliner, and beige German square weave carpets. A vintage-style Bluetooth stereo head unit is fitted in the factory location.
The Empi GT–style steering wheel fronts a 90-mph VDO speedometer, a fuel level gauge, and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller over eight years of ownership. The speedometer cable is broken, and total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four breathes through a Solex downdraft carburetor and is equipped with a dual-exit muffler.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
A selection of service records from the seller is included in the sale.
