This 2004 Cadillac CTS-V was modified by Mallett Performance and is said to have subsequently received a 427ci LS7 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 19″ forged wheels, Mallett V-branded instrumentation, tinted rear windows, a sunroof, and Ebony upholstery with microsuede inserts.
The car is finished in silver and features larger front and rear fascias than the contemporary CTS. Additional equipment includes mesh grille inserts, fog lights, a power-operated sunroof, V badging, and dual exhaust outlets.
Forged 19″ wheels by Mallett wear staggered-width Nitto tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with silver-finished V-branded calipers and slotted rotors.
The interior features seating surfaces trimmed in Ebony leather with sueded microfiber inserts along with a matching dashboard, carpets and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, Mallett V-embroidered headrests, power windows, a Hurst shift knob, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and an AM/FM/CD stereo.
A multi-function steering wheel frames instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a Mallett V-branded tachometer, and coolant temperature and fuel level gauges. The digital odometer shows 53k miles.
The factory engine was reportedly replaced in 2013 with an LS7 427ci V8 built by Goodwin Competition of Omro, Wisconsin, and installed by SpeedSouth of Pelham, Alabama. A front strut tower brace has been installed along with a stainless-steel dual-exhaust system. An oil change was completed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a GM LS7 clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel as well as a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
