This 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is finished in two-tone green over a green interior and is powered by a 390ci V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller acquired the car out of California in 1991, and features include power-assisted brakes and steering, a six-way power-adjustable front seat, chrome bumpers and trim, rear fins, dual-bullet taillights, a heater, and an AM radio.
The body was factory finished in Inverness Green (32) with a Kensington Green (36) roof. Equipment includes GM’s E-Z Eye tinted glass, chrome bumpers and trim, upright tail fins with dual-bullet taillights, quad headlights, integrated fog lights, rear-wheel skirts, and a left-side mirror. The roof was reportedly repainted under previous ownership, and the seller notes rust in front of the door on each side.
Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with wide-whitewall tires that were fitted in January 2018. Equipment includes power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes and power steering.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats that have been reupholstered in green cloth and vinyl. Amenities include a six-way powered front seat, a heater, an AM radio, power windows, and crank-operated front vent windows.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph horizontal-sweep speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles.
The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. A valve service is said to have been carried out under previous ownership, and service in June 2015 included the replacement of the spark plugs, plug wires, water pump, distributor rotor and cap, upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat, and belts.
