This 1960 Morris Minor Traveller is a left-hand-drive wagon that was refurbished and modified under previous ownership in Washington and was subsequently acquired by the seller in 2015 along with a 1955 Baycraft hydroplane on a matching trailer. The car is finished in green with varnished oak trim and is powered by a 1.4-liter Nissan A14 inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a narrowed Ford 8″ rear end. A new battery was fitted in 2019 and the oil gauge line was repaired in 2020.
The exterior was refinished in DCC Concept Salt Green with custom pinstripes in 2006. The rear body features refurbished oak structural members, ambulance doors, sliding rear windows, and a receiver hitch mounted below the license plate.
Slotted 13″ alloy wheels feature Morris center caps and are wrapped in Michelin all-season tires. The car features rack-and-pinion steering, a front torsion bar suspension, and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. Braking is from drums at all four corners, and the fronts were overhauled in 2011.
The interior features late-model front bucket seats with removed headrests and a folding rear bench in gray vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery. A banjo-style steering wheel sits in front of a body-colored dashboard housing twin storage compartments and a central Smiths speedometer with a fuel-level gauge and integrated warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles.
The cargo area is lined with black carpet and can be expanded by folding down the rear bench seat. A storage compartment for the spare wheel and other items is located beneath the floor.
A carbureted 1.4-liter Nissan A14 inline-four was installed under previous ownership. The seller replaced the battery in 2019 and changed the oil 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a narrowed Ford 8″ rear end.
The 11′ Baycraft hydroplane was built in 1955 and features a flat-bottom wood laminate hull under the single-place cockpit, as well as two front sponsons merging into a curved bow.
The boat is powered by a two-stroke, 30-horsepower Kiekhaefer Mercury Mark 30 Turbo Four outboard drawing from a modern plastic fuel tank.
Service records from 1995 on are included in the sale along with an owner’s manual, a workshop manual, and a Morris-themed wall clock.
