This 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix was reportedly purchased new in California by the seller’s uncle, and the seller acquired the car from him in 2006 and relocated it to Florida. The car has reportedly been refinished in its original color of Marimba Red (L) and features chrome bumpers and trim. Additional features include a driver-side mirror and dual exhaust outlets.
The 14″ steel wheels wear factory-style covers and whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the brake booster and the master cylinder were reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl and are joined by a matching dashboard and door panels. Lap belts are fitted for the front and rear passengers, and the car is equipped with dual-speed wipers and a push-button AM radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph sweep speedometer while a fuel-level gauge, clock, ammeter, and vacuum gauge are housed in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 8,600 miles.
The 389ci V8 was modified with exhaust headers, and a smaller starter is fitted to accommodate them. The fuel pump is said to have been replaced, and the oil was changed 1k miles ago.
