This 1968 Cadillac Eldorado is finished in gold over beige leather and is powered by a 472ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. It is said to have been acquired by the current owner from the estate of its original owner in 2016, and subsequent service included a rebuild of the front brake calipers and replacement of the tires, belts, and hoses. Equipment includes vacuum-operated headlight doors, steel 15” wheels with covers, an AM/FM radio, and a power-adjustable front bench.
The car is finished in gold and features polished bumpers and rocker panels, vacuum-operated headlight doors, fender-mounted turn signals, Eldorado fender badging, and a driver-side mirror.
Steel 15” wheels wear polished covers with Cadillac crests and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown tires that are said to have been installed in 2016. The front brake calipers were also rebuilt at that time.
The interior houses bench seats that are trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with matching carpeting and door panels. Faux-woodgrain trim is found on the dash and interior panels, and appointments include a power-adjustable split-front bench, an AM/FM radio, a heater/defroster, power windows, and lap belts for all occupants.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph horizontal speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 472ci V8 was new for the 1968 model year and was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. The belts and hoses are said to have been replaced in 2016.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a TH425 three-speed automatic transmission.
An owner’s manual and additional factory literature are included in the sale.
The Pennsylvania title lists “Antique Vehicle” under the brands section.
