Additional work reportedly included replacement of the shocks as well as servicing the braking system. The convertible top is said to have been replaced by Val’s Auto Upholstery in San Francisco, California.
The seats were also reupholstered in red vinyl, and the cockpit features matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include lap belts, a clock, a cassette stereo, and an aftermarket temperature gauge.

The 1.6-liter inline-four was rated at 96 horsepower when new and is fed by twin SU-style carburetors. An aluminum radiator and a replacement distributor were installed under current ownership, with the latter reportedly featuring an electronic ignition module.
