This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours wagon was acquired by the seller out of West Virginia six years ago and subsequently relocated to Texas. It is finished in white over a tan interior and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 mated with a three-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission. Equipment includes an Edelbrock intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, a chrome roof rack, a swing-out and folding rear tailgate, a rear-facing third row seat, 17″ American Racing wheels, a vintage-look radio, and air conditioning.
The car was finished from the factory in Antique White (11) and was repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, a chrome roof rack, a driver-side mirror, a retractable rear window, dual side exhaust outlets, and a dual-acting swing-out and folding rear tailgate. The seller notes that the wipers and headlights have been replaced under current ownership.
Polished 17” five-spoke American Racing wheels are mounted with 215/50 front and 235/50 rear General G-Max tires. The springs and front shocks are said to have been replaced under current ownership, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drum brakes. The seller notes that the front springs have been cut.
The interior houses three rows of seating that are trimmed in tan vinyl with matching interior panels and black carpeting. Amenities include a vintage-look digital head unit with an auxiliary input, air conditioning, and rubber floor mats. The seat belts were installed under current ownership.
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and an oil pressure meter. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles.
The 350ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and is fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor. The fuel tank has been re-coated, and additional work carried out under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the following components:
