This 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV spent time in Venezuela prior to being acquired by the seller in 2017 and subsequently imported to the US in 2019. The floor pans, driver-side door skin, and the front fender wings were replaced under prior ownership after which the car was refinished in blue. Features include a chrome grille, side mirrors, and window trim, and a stainless-steel single exhaust outlet.
Silver-finished 15″ GTA replica wheels are mounted with 205/50 Yokohama Advan Neova tires, and the front brake calipers and pads were said to have been replaced in 2019. Koni dampers and lowering springs have been fitted, as well as stainless-steel brake and clutch hoses.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in red leather with matching door panels along with a black dashboard and carpets. Amenities include wood trim, Alfa Romeo-branded floor mats, a wood shift knob, and manual-crank windows. The seller reports the headliner and sun visors have been replaced and three-point seat belts have been installed.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a 240 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 87k kilometers (~54k miles).
The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was reportedly overhauled by Sergio Cavicchioli in Venezuela, and work included replacing the camshafts, porting and polishing the head, and balancing the connecting rods. An oil change was performed in 2020, an Odyssey battery has been installed in the trunk, a pointless ignition with a Beru blue coil has been fitted, and the seller reports the fuel sender, pump, and relay kit have been replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, and a stainless-steel exhaust system has been fitted.
