This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV is powered by a 2.0-liter twin-spark inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in beige over a black interior. Additional modifications include Alfaholics suspension and braking components, a trunk-mounted fuel cell, electronic ignition, 15” GTA-style wheels, and GTS Classics seats.
The Giugiaro-designed body was refinished in beige at an unknown point under previous ownership and features C-pillar serpent badges, stainless steel bumpers and trim, and a driver’s mirror.
GTA-style 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 195/55 Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. Alfaholics braking components consist of aluminum four-piston calipers with vented rotors up front along with sport rotors out back. The suspension features Eibach sport springs, Koni shocks, polyurethane bushings, adjustable upper control arms, lightweight trailing arms, and an S4 front sway bar with adjustable rose-jointed end links.
The interior houses GTS Classics Monte Carlo front seats upholstered in black leatherette along with matching side panels and carpeting. The ignition switch has been replaced under current ownership.
A wood-rimmed Hellebore steering wheel frames a Stack programmable tachometer and a 145-mph Jaeger speedometer. Stack auxiliary gauges in the wood-trimmed dash display voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level in addition to oil pressure and temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 93k miles.
The 2.0-liter Alfa 75 twin-spark engine was built by AutoComponenti of Brookville, Ohio, in 2008 and features a modified block drilled for increased lubrication, a 10.0:1 compression ratio, and a ported cylinder head. Induction is from twin Weber DCOE45 carburetors, and additional equipment includes an electronic ignition system, a high-volume oil pump, an aluminum radiator and oil cooler, a Denso mini alternator, and a stainless steel exhaust manifold.
An Alfaholics fuel cell is fitted in the trunk next to the spare wheel and tire, and feeds a Facet electric pump mounted in the lower half of a factory fuel tank.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and an Alfaholics “Gripper” limited-slip differential. The gearbox was rebuilt in 2018 and is equipped with a lightweight clutch and flywheel.
