The car was finished from the factory in Bianco, and a bare-metal repaint was reportedly carried out in 2008. Prior to the respray, the seller states that a rust repair was performed near the base of the windshield.
Silver 14″ five-spoke Campagnolo alloy wheels are mounted with 195/65 Bridgestone Insignia SE 200 tires showing 2008 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the car has been fitted with Bilstein shocks and Centerline lowering springs.
The cabin is upholstered in black vinyl and features head restraints, lap belts, bright door panel trim, and black rubber floor mats. Amenities include a heater, manual crank windows, and a replacement Caliber stereo.
A factory Personal wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a suite of instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k tachometer, and fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature gauges. The odometer shows 61k miles.
The 2.0-liter inline-four has been fitted with twin Weber 40DCOE 2 carburetors that replaced the factory SPICA fuel injection system. The engine is said to have been rebuilt by Costa Mesa R&D in 2008, and a ported and polished cylinder head, high-compression JE pistons, and a Centerline European-style camshaft are said to have been installed. The seller reports that additional work involved machining the crankshaft and flywheel. Aftermarket velocity stacks and filters have been installed, and a spare European-style air box is included.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed transmission.
