The 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-four features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 111 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque when new. Service completed by Besic Motorsports of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, in January 2021 included installation of an electronic ignition system as well as replacement of the alternator, battery, cold-start thermo switch, spark plugs, ignition wires, coolant, and engine oil.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid and rear axle oil were also changed in January 2021.
