This 1983 Datsun 280ZX was purchased by the seller in 1985 and subsequently stored from 2002 until 2021. The car is finished in silver over gray cloth and is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Work in preparation for the sale included refurbishment of the fuel system as well as replacement of the belts, fluids, tires, and battery.
The car is finished in Fox Silver Metallic (028) and features a rear window wiper, optional T-tops, and a NACA hood duct. The Carfax report indicates “minor damage” to the front in 2021, and the seller reports that the hood was repainted in 2021 due to a scratch from a bicycle in the garage. The headlights, wiper blades, and rear hatch struts were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Factory 14-inch alloy wheels wear 205/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires with date codes from 2020 and 2021.
The cabin features seats upholstered in gray velour with black vinyl side and rear panels as well as a black dash and gray carpets.
