The car is finished in Alpine White III and features tinted windows, fog lights, power mirrors, and plastic side moldings. The roof was reportedly repainted under prior ownership. The roof rails were eliminated with a factory delete kit, and the seller notes that the power-operated glass sunroof’s sunshade requires service. Euro-style taillights have been installed, along with an E46 ZHP front bumper cover.
Silver 17″ Style 96 alloy wheels were added as part of the sport package and are wrapped in 225/45 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that are said to have been installed within the last 2,500 miles. Replacement brake pads, rotors, and sensors are fitted at all four corners, and the front control arms were reportedly replaced with units from a ZHP model at 87k miles. The wheels exhibit curb rash, and the power steering components are said to have been replaced in preparation for sale.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in beige leather with a matching center console, door panels, and carpets along with a contrasting black dashboard. Heated front Sport seats from a contemporary E46 have been added, and additional amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, a ZHP shift knob, a BMW short shift kit, an Alcantara shift boot, and rubber BMW floor mats. The blower motor has reportedly been replaced.
A multifunction steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and instant economy. The digital odometer indicates 88k miles, approximately 4k of which were added by the owner.
The 2.5-liter M52 inline-six was factory rated at 170 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Maintenance completed at 87k miles is said to have included a fluid service, refreshing the crankcase ventilation system, installing Bavarian Autosport ignition coils and spark plugs, and replacing the battery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a retrofitted six-speed manual transmission that was reportedly installed at 87k miles. A JB Racing lightweight flywheel, Clutch Masters Stage 1 clutch, and replacement rear main seal are said to have been installed during the retrofit.
