The Crossfire shares its platform with the R170 generation of the Mercedes-Benz SLK, and this example is finished in black with silver trim accents. Exterior features include a revised front fascia, fog lights, dual central exhaust finishers, and a fixed rear spoiler in place of the base model’s motorized unit.
Factory 18″ and 19″ wheels are wrapped in 225/40 front and 255/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. SRT-6 models were equipped with stiffer springs than the base model, and stopping power is provided by anti-lock disc brakes with ventilated rotors measuring 13″ up front and 11.8″ out back.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable buckets seats upholstered in black leather with textured inserts. Amenities include all-weather floor mats, Crossfire door sill plates, power windows and locks, air conditioning, and an Infinity CD stereo.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer has 7k miles.
The supercharged 3.2-liter V6 was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a shiftable five-speed automatic transmission.
