January 2011 and December 2018 Carfax entries note “minor damage” to the rear, and the seller states that part of the left rear quarter panel has been repainted. Chips and blemishes are visible in the paintwork, and the seller notes that the headlamps have been refurbished with replacement projectors and lenses, and that the factory front side marker lights are included in the sale.
Factory 20″ five-spoke AMG wheels wear 265/45 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires which were installed in May 2019. Stopping power is provided by cross-drilled rotors fitted with AMG-branded calipers at all four corners. Repairs in July 2019 included the replacement of the lower front control arm bushings and a front wheel speed sensor, and the air suspension compressor was replaced in May 2020.
The cabin features beige leather on the seating surfaces and doors as well as walnut trim accenting the steering wheel, dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable multicontour front seats, an aftermarket Android touch screen entertainment system with navigation and 4G/LTE capability, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear seat climate controls, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power tailgate, Parktronic, and a rear-view camera. The seller notes that the factory COMAND system is included in the sale.
Instrumentation includes a configurable speedometer with an inset clock as well as a tachometer with a 7,250-rpm redline and a fuel gauge. The digital odometer indicates 214k kilometers (~133k miles)
The 6.2-liter M156 V8 was rated at 503 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque when new. Between 2016 and 2017, the previous owner replaced stretched cylinder head bolts, the timing chains, valve lifters, and other components. Subsequent repairs include the replacement of the auxiliary battery, spark plugs, and ignition coils in 2019, the replacement of the serpentine belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys at 206k kilometers, and the replacement of the camshaft gears, the valve cover gaskets, the timing cover gasket, and the camshaft position sensor interruptor in September 2020. The upper oil pan was resealed under previous ownership, but is said to be showing signs of seepage. An oil change is said to have been completed in preparation for the sale. The seller notes that the exhaust resonators have been removed but are included in the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
Manufacturer’s literature, repair invoices, spare parts, and an iCarSoft OBD scan tool are included in the sale.
