1926 Willys Whippet

This 1926 Willys-Overland Whippet is nearly a century old and comes with documentation that helps tell its story. Records trace the car back to Chicago, with an Illinois title issued in 1934, before it eventually made its way to Michigan.

Built during the early days of American motoring, the Whippet was introduced by Willys-Overland as an affordable, lightweight automobile for everyday families. Nearly 100 years later, this example survives as a genuine piece of that era.

The car now needs a complete restoration, but its age, character, and surviving historical paperwork make it much more than just an old project car. It’s an opportunity for someone to bring a piece of 1920s American automotive history back to life.
