Chevrolet 350 four-bolt-main V8, mild cam, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, Mallory electronic ignition and TH350 automatic with a mild shift kit. Halibrand Champ quick-change with 3.73 gears and upgraded Ford 9-inch-style outer bearings and axle-retention arrangement — the Halibrand rear end is still in the car.

Wilwood four-wheel discs, replacement coilovers front and rear, Flaming River Vega steering box, quick-release wood-rim steering wheel and a 22-gallon fuel tank. Convertible top, tonneau cover and concealed marine AM/FM/CD radio.
