Description
This 1950 Chevrolet 3800 pickup is a five-window Deluxe that was used as a hose truck for the fire department in Paris, Idaho, according to the seller, who acquired the vehicle in Utah in 1982. It has since been refurbished, and the seller adds that it was kept in a covered storage facility for more than 10 years. Powered by a 216ci inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, it has brown and tan paint, brick red vinyl upholstery, 17″ steel wheels, bias-ply tires, a 12-volt electrical system, a wood-plank bed floor, a receiver hitch, and a full-floating rear axle. This one-ton Advance Design five-window pickup is offered with removed and spare parts, an owner’s manual, and a Wyoming title in the seller’s name. The truck was black before it was refinished in brown and tan under current ownership. The seller also added turn signals and dual taillights, and the truck was converted to a 12-volt electrical system. Some areas of corrosion are noted around the body and in the cargo bed, which has a weathered wood-plank floor with painted runners.
