Description
This 1951 Lincoln Lido coupe was restored in the early 2000s at a claimed cost of over $120k and subsequently earned a Best of Show award from the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club in 2009 as well as Emeritus Division awards in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Power is provided by a 337ci flathead V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in green with a white vinyl roof. Equipment includes a split windshield, a chrome grille, chrome bumpers, rear fender skirts, a push-button AM radio, and two rows of bench seats upholstered in green and white vinyl. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2026, this Lido is now offered in Indiana with a Nebraska title. Based on the 121″-wheelbase EL model shared with Mercury, the Lido was fitted with a padded vinyl top cover, special trim, and fender shields as standard. The Lido cost $145 more than a standard Lincoln coupe, and the company sold a combined total of 4,482 2-door Lincoln club coupes and 2-door Lido coupes for 1951. This example left the factory finished in Yosemite Green (206A), and it was refinished during the refurbishment.
