Description
This 1962 AMC M422A1 Mighty Mite and M416-B1 trailer were refurbished under prior ownership and were purchased by the seller in 2026. Finished in olive drab over green vinyl, the truck is powered by a 107ci V4 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a single-speed transfer case. Equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, inboard drum brakes, a canvas soft top, a pintle hitch, and a dash-mounted fire extinguisher. This M422A1 and M416-B1 trailer are offered with technical manuals and Pennsylvania titles for the truck and trailer. To facilitate airlifting and helicopter insertion, the Mighty Mite was the first US-built vehicle of its type with an aluminum body, and the A1 variant featured a 71″ wheelbase and weighed just 1,780 pounds unladen. This example is finished in olive drab and features a canvas soft top, a rear-mounted spare tire, and a pintle hitch.
