1962 Chevrolet Suburban

This 1962 Chevrolet Suburban was purchased by the seller in 2015, and the subsequent custom build completed in 2018 involved modifying the chassis with an Accuair adjustable airbag suspension system, CPP tubular front control arms, adjustable rear trailing arms, and kicked-up rear frame rails. The body was painted metallic blue and white after the roof was cut for a sliding fabric roof insert, and dual spotlights were added along with later-style woodgrain lower body moldings. Power is provided by a 350ci V8 with Edelbrock induction linked to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and the dual exhaust system has glasspack-style mufflers. Inside, two rows of bench seating have been re-trimmed in white vinyl with patterned fabric inserts and are accompanied by a fabricated Black Walnut console with cup holders, phone storage, and a Kenwood touchscreen stereo linked to an Audio Shoppe sound system with dual subwoofers. The seller notes over $140k was invested in the build. This modified Suburban is now offered with a California title in the seller’s name. The truck was repainted in metallic blue and white, and a custom ragtop sliding fabric roof insert was installed during the build completed in 2018. Later-style woodgrain lower moldings were added, and additional equipment includes dual side mirrors, dual cowl-mounted spotlights, and front bumper guards.
