Description
This 1963 Studebaker Avanti underwent final assembly on January 3, 1963, and was first delivered in Memphis. Documentation indicates additional ownership history from 1988 to 2017, when the car was relocated to Delaware. The 289ci V8 and three-speed automatic transmission were rebuilt around 2001, and the car has been refinished in white. Equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, 15″ steel wheels with spoke-style covers, fender-mounted chrome mirrors, power front windows, and air conditioning. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2026. This Avanti is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner , with a build sheet, the owner’s manual, service records, and a Pennsylvania title listing the car as a 1964. The Raymond Loewy–designed fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Avanti White (P6431), and it was refinished around 2005, per the selling dealer. Exterior details include replacement fender-mounted chrome mirrors, polished trim, dual exhaust outlets, and wraparound chrome bumpers with rubber guards. The right front turn signal lens is cracked, and paint imperfections are shown in the gallery.
