Description
This 1967 Lotus Europa is a non-running project that was purchased by the current owner in 2023. Finished in faded orange paint, the car rolls on 13″ eight-spoke wheels and retains a 1,470cc Renault inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. The seats are missing inside, and a collection of workshop manuals, tools, and spare parts is included in the sale. This Type 46 is now offered on dealer consignment by McQueen Classics— a BaT Local Partner —in Lewes, Delaware, at no reserve with a clean Oregon title. The Europa debuted in 1966 and featured a fiberglass body mounted over a steel backbone chassis that was developed from the earlier Elan. This example is finished in faded orange paint. The car features flying buttresses, decklid vents, and front and rear trunk compartments as well as a driver-side mirror and push-button door releases. The front grille surround is cracked and rust is visible on the bumpers.
