Description
This 1970 Ford Bronco wagon was acquired from its reported original owner in 2009 by the seller’s son and underwent a multi-year refurbishment completed in 2015. Work involved rebuilding the 302ci V8, repainting the body in copper, retrimming the interior in parchment vinyl, and overhauling the suspension and brake system. Shifting is through a three-speed manual transmission linked with a dual-range transfer case, and the truck rides on a lifted suspension as well as 15″ aluminum wheels wrapped in 33″ tires. Further equipment includes a vinyl soft top, a swing-away spare tire carrier, a cowl hood, steel bumpers, a roll bar, Hurst shifters, and a JBL head unit in addition to a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an HEI distributor, and long-tube exhaust headers. This Bronco is now offered by the seller on behalf of his son with a Michigan title describing the model year as 1971. Finished from the factory in Acapulco Blue (6), the truck was repainted copper as part of the aforementioned refurbishment, at which time the rocker panels were replaced. Details include a cowl hood with pins as well as a vinyl soft top, white fender arch flares, dual side mirrors, a steel front bumper with a stinger, recovery D-rings, and auxiliary lights, and an aftermarket rear bumper with an integrated receiver hitch.
