This is not being represented as a factory 914-6. The car has been converted to a Porsche air-cooled flat-six configuration and is believed to be equipped with a 2.7-liter 911-based engine, although the engine type and displacement have not been independently verified. The engine features a green Porsche-style cooling shroud, dual-carburetor/aftermarket induction setup and Porsche air-cooled flat-six architecture. The engine currently turns freely by hand, which is encouraging; however, the vehicle has been in storage and has not been started, road-tested or mechanically recommissioned by us. Cosmetically, this is a remarkably attractive car. The orange exterior presents very nicely, complemented by the period-style plaid interior, black trim and five-spoke Fuchs-style wheels. The passenger compartment shows exceptionally well and gives the car a fantastic period Porsche appearance.
